Portal axles give the rig ample ground clearance for easy off-road manoeuvring. The LCXU 4-wheel drive transmission lets you switch easily to standard axles if you prefer, and it includes all-metal gears and full ball bearings for impressive durability.

Built on the proven Axial SCX10 III platform, the Base Camp is equally at home climbing rocks and ledges or following a trail back to camp. Its optimised suspension, tunable oil-filled shocks, and tough-as-nails drivetrain all contribute to unstoppable crawling performance. The Base Camp now also features loads of new accessories for improved looks. A snorkel, half cage, functional storage case, rock sliders, side mirrors, and door handles all boost the scale realism for more excitement on the trails.
